Our History
The JP Corporate Group had its inception 50 years ago as JP Welding, a small trailer repair and welding shop.
JP Metal Masters opened its doors in 1972, in Port Coquitlam. In 1989, with the completion of our new facility, we moved to our current location in Maple Ridge, BC. In the past five decades, JP Metal Masters has grown into one of BC’s top structural and miscellaneous steel fabricators and erectors. In 1997, we were joined by JP Drafting, to provide our clients with complete drafting and fabrication services.
In 2013, JP Metal Masters was purchased by Jean Paul Philippon Jr. from his father Jean Paul Philippon Sr.
JPSR - PASSED AWAY ON FRIDAY JULY 29TH, 2022 - He would have liked us all to remember him in his prime when his motto was "YOU WORK HARD - YOU GET TO PLAY HARD!" and he sure did both!
